Bob Crow Issues A Challenge…

May 7th, 2008 by BenSix

Yahoo reports that the alcohol ban may find opposition. Bob Crow of the RTM transport union is wary of the risk of violence towards staff if they try to enforce the rules with drunk passengers.

“”We are in favour of any measure that will make our members’ lives safer and curb anti-social behaviour, but it appears that this really hasn’t been thought through very well and could well make matters worse,” he said.

“Perhaps the mayor will come out with his underpants on over his trousers like Superman one Saturday to show us how it should be done.”"

The RMT, with Mr Crow at the helm, was such a thorn in the side of Ken Livingstone that he was moved to conclude that he couldn’t “explain the mindset” of the union. It seems that Boris may have similar battles ahead.

Come on, Bob Crow is a T*s*er of the first order and anything he says should be taken as shite, especially as other union leaders have called this a good idea.

Whatever one may think of his opinion, Chunters, one can’t deny his influence. His union represents 80,000 transport employees.

If you think that anything said by any polotician, whatever party is going to make this thick head change his trotsky mind you are living on a cloud.

    He should be fired, now!

..and it will only take a week or two and they would be back at work when they realise how much money they are losing in wages.

    …hey! It’s easy.

Bob Crowe - He’s a bit thick, isn’t he though?

Bob C - The Lobotomees’ Lobotomee.

Bob Crow is a funny fella. I think things are definitely going to get messy on the Tube; whatever animosity there was between Crow and Livingstone it’s nothing compared to the universal loathing of Boris by the Tube workers.

Looking forward to the Tories imposing the No Strikes rule.

It could be Scargill versus Thatcher all over again.
And I could find myself cheering on Bob Crow.

Yeah, and look what happened to Scargill! I’ll look forward to BC being banished into obscurity to reflect on his utter failure and humiliation.
    Nice comparison BritSwedeGuy.
And the problem with BC is that he doesn’t have even an infinitesimal fraction of the public support Scargill enjoyed. Not even remotely close. He’s a caricature of a stereotype of the worst and most ridiculous sort of unionist. Bring it on Crowe!
