Ugh. That was painful to watch and I can understand why Boris Johnson is not keen to meet with the public to discuss what he is doing to improve the city. He just doesn't have a handle on any facts and is bereft of any ideas. I can hear the hissing of hot air escaping from his campaign! The fact that he is admitting that the bendy buses are needed to handle mass transit at peak hours when he promised Londoners they would be phased out . I have no problem with the bendy buses, as a mother with a disabled child who rides in a wheel chair I have found them to be very comfortable and easy to get on and off. I have to say I really am enjoying the unravelling of the mayor. Cretin.

Curious story about the motion-sensitive lights given that many Parliament offices also have those same lights, and indeed there was a fair amount of good humoured coverage when they were initially set wrong so that MPs sitting at their desks would suddenly find the lights going out on them.

Did Boris really not notice any of that whilst an MP? The answer I guess is "yes", but that does say something about how much attention he really gives to his different jobs...
