Boris addresses the Pride pre-party
Cringe your way through this (from Homovision.tv) if you want. He clearly hasn’t a clue what he’s on about whenever he strays off his few pre-prepared one-liners.
Are we still waiting for an apology on the ‘three men and a dog’ front, by the way?

Right, cringing now…
Frightening. Plus Livingstone got the biggest applause. I’m counting the months now!
Cringing… and interesting that pretty much anything of value to LGBT advancement towards that oh-so-elusive equality was acknowledged to come from Livingstone. Not surprising then, that Ken’s mention got the biggest round of applause.
I’m beginning to wonder though, is Johnson’s bumbling vagueness an endearing charm or a contempt for detail?
Hmm, I’m tending towards the view that he can do detail perfectly well on things that interest him (his love of Latin and Greek seems genuine and deep) but finds it very hard to motivate himself to learn the details for things that don’t grab him.
