Shock of the week in the blogging world has to be the sudden closure of the superb London Connections, pretty much the best site for transport issues in London around, and apparently the work of one man, who’s now decided to move on. Obviously that’s up to him, but it does mean there’s a vacuum to be filled for timely, in depth coverage of transport projects, financing, ticketing etc. Naturally I’ll do a bit, but it’s got to be vaguely Boris-related to be relevant here.
However, not all is lost, the increased blogging coverage post-Boris means transport issues are getting more coverage, not least because the Mayor’s job does turn out to be transport plus some other stuff, as hopefully Boris will realise at some point.
With that, coverage of the reshaped Tory TfL Board meetings become rather important, and Dave Hill’s been to one, which saves waiting until the minutes are online. Pop over for a look.
