The blogosphere’s own Adam Bienkov (pronounced ‘Bee-en-kov’, Ken) and the Lib Dem’s Caroline Pidgeon are also on LBC this morning, and it’s turning into a Boris slap-fest. Adam points out how insignificant the council tax freeze is compared to the fare rises (and he could have added the VAT cut, too). Caroline is outraged by Boris’s style of question answering; having given him plenty of time to get on top of the detail, he’s still not giving proper answers and covering up with jokes. There’s a story about an answer to Dee Doocey I want to know more about.
Finally Adam fingers the Met Police budget cuts as a possible future story to watch. Given that property crime will rise as the recession deepens, this is quite right.
