From TfL’s website:
“Boris Johnson said: TfL have done their best to balance their books in an extremely tough economic climate. At the same time as the downturn, the ramifications of the failure of the beast that was Metronet have also become increasingly clear. We are doing all we can, but further cuts are inevitable. With this in mind, I have directed London Underground to investigate alleviating Tube overcrowding by omitting stops in inner areas. This will provide instant relief and a faster journey for the hard-pressed suburban commuter without the need to close lines and buy expensive signalling systems. People from the inner areas won’t lose out, either, as they can avail themselves of my super cycle hire scheme or enjoy the healthy fresh air from my smoothed traffic flow while they dash from pavement to pavement on their walk to work”.

Haha, my blood pressure was rising quite substantially before I noticed today’s date
Trouble with Boris is, this could be true.
It’s not easy to tell which is the bigger joke April Fools day or BJ.
Ha! That link directs to Rick Astley!
Disturbingly plausible.
Are we sure it’s not a serious proposal from BoJo?
Keep up the good work.
Helen, we are aware of all internet traditions…

TFC – BoJo is very easy to parody. Usually people with something worth listening to aren’t very easy to parody.
dont put ideas into the man’s head!
The fact that this was still going after noon yesterday means that Tom runs the Rick Astley Fan Club.
Outed!
