Martin from Mayorwatch reports as an update to his post on the Purdah Row between Boris and opposition City Hall politicians that the proposed 10am Boris-led launch of the service on the 15th April has been cancelled.  There’s no word on any rescheduling there.

However, London Reconnections is typically quick off the mark, suggesting that a hitch has developed necessitating a delay until next week:

There is little information as of yet to why the opening has been delayed, but sources suggest that it is to allow a camera-related software fault on the 378s to be fixed and tested.
